PET PORTRAITS GO LIVE ON INSTAGRAM!

When I started my art career full-time, I took on commission work to help with the finances. Most commissions were of people and families. Then, I started to get inquiries about doing a pet portrait. I never really considered it. All of my training and general subject matter has been of people and it was what I felt the most comfortable with doing. I decided to take on the commission and I really glad I did! I truly love working on painting of people’s pets. The stories that people would share were so heart felt and full of love. Nothing quite beats the unconditional love of a pet.

My portfolio grew little by little. I decided to take it to Instagram (pnwpet_protraits). It was amazing the feedback I would get and new interest in my work and the wonderful clients I got to meet! Painting these portraits had not only gave my clients joy, but filled my heart, too.
